The 83rd anniversary of Barbara Sparti's birth
Today, on the 83rd anniversary of her birth, we want to remember Barbara Sparti, to whom we are dedicating the upcoming symposium.
With her untiring commitment, she instilled enthusiasm for historical dance in numerous dancers and dance researchers. With our 2016 conference, we want to pass this enthusiasm on, pursuing dance research and the joy of dancing as she envisioned it. (Photographs by Pawel Mazur and Ilja van de Pavert)
