Ana Yepes, Paris, France

Ana Yepes discovered historical dance during her training as a recorder player. She was influenced by her studies with Francine Lancelot and her own research into Spanish baroque dance. Her international career as a dancer began in the ensembles “Ris et Danceries” and “Hémiole”. This was followed by numerous performances and stage productions as a dancer and choreographer with leading baroque music specialists such as William Christie, Philippe Pierlot, Gabriel Garrido and others, as well as with her own ensemble, the Ana Yepes Dance Company.
She has also been a sought-after dance teacher throughout Europe for many years.
