The mornings will be devoted to lectures on the history and context of dance, as well as brief presentations of the exhibition posters.
Afternoons
Dance practice
Two workshops are held each day. Participants will be spread over three halls in the castle. This means there is enough space for everyone and everyone can attend each workshop.
Short Performances
Dance art
In the evening, dance ensembles will present their creative interpretations of a variety of dance themes.
Dance Evenings
Conviviality
After the short performances, we offer programmes of social dances related to the conference theme. We will be divided into two groups for this purpose.
Festive Ball
Feast
On Saturday evening, we will celebrate together with a festive ball, preferably dressed in historical costumes in keeping with the theme of the conference. We will be accompanied by our resident musical ensemble.
Poster Exhibition
Dance knowledge
Our exhibition presents various posters with research results on the conference theme. A special highlight: the poster café with the poster authors
Book Exhibition
Dance literature
Our book exhibition is an opportunity for participants to find out about new and important literature on a variety of dance topics.
Live Music
Dance music
As at previous conferences, we have a music ensemble in residence that will accompany us during the workshops, the dance evenings and, of course, the ball.
Intensive Exchange
Commonality
The many hours spent together in the castle, whether at mealtimes, during breaks or in the evening in the castle cellar, allow for intensive exchange and a shared enjoyment of the castle atmosphere.
