With our online dance days, we want to once again shine a spotlight on the development of dance in German-speaking countries over four centuries. We have been able to attract a number of new speakers. This time our palette ranges from dance illustrations of the 16th century to Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's dance pleasure. Surely there is something exciting for everyone.

The castle has sent out the first flyers, the homepage is updated, registration is open!
After a long time without dance, we are immensely looking forward to the symposium, ist workshops, lectures and dance evenings. Four fantastic days of exchange are waiting for us: June 15 - 19, 2022 at the castle.

Yesterday we had a detailed meeting at Burg Rothenfels and preparations are already in full swing. In the next few days, the invitation flyers will be printed, the website is being updated and soon we want to set up the hall technology for a possible live stream of the lectures.
So you can already make a note of the Symposium dates:
15 - 19 June 2022.
Our Symposium Special for baroque dancers will take place immediately before this:
12 - 15 June 2022
If the weather plays along as it does in the photo, it will be a great symposium!

Due to the Corona pandemic, the symposium originally planned for 2020 has been postponed to 2022. We plan to keep the same topic "The Ball" with the same speakers as much as possible. Very few had to cancel their contribution, a few others are currently still unsure whether they will be able to attend the conference in 2022. Therefore, we would now like to start a supplementary call for contributions.
Contributions are welcome in all categories. Submissions that we cannot consider, will be put on a waiting list in case further speakers will not be able to come.
